Loved this game as a kid. But its super buggy

I want this game to work.
I want to be able to play it.
Fix it please.
VERY frustrating to play, and not because its a good frustrating game
The mechanics dont work.
The jump button sometimes doesnt register, and the controls are super glitchy.
